Wes Cadby, CMIRM, Scoops CIR Magazine’s Risk Manager of the Year Award
The Continuity Insurance & Risk (CIR) Magazine’s Risk Management Awards ceremony was held in London on Thursday, 8th November at the Connaught Rooms, London.
We are delighted that Wes Cadby CMIRM scooped the Risk Manager of the Year Award.
Wes, is Group Head of Risk Management at J. Murphy & Sons Limited. He has recently been appointed Chair of the IRM Infrastructure Special Interest Group.
Here’s what he said:
“I am incredibly honoured to have been presented with the CIR Risk Manager of the Year award. With the levels of investment in the construction and infrastructure sectors currently, there is an ever increasing need for the supply chain to improve its risk management capabilities to ensure value is delivered.
My focus for this past year with J Murphy & Sons has been to do just that, and I truly believe we are leading that step change in the industry. I have to thank J Murphy & Sons for the drive and passion they have shown for Risk Management which has allowed me to deliver for the business, the IRM for their constant support in enabling me to promote and improve the risk management profession as Chair for the Infrastructure Risk Special Interest Group, and to my family, for always yawning at the right times in my presentations, enabling me to refocus the message.”
